April 16-17 we took Joy to her first Dressage show at William Woods University. She did great. We ended up with 2-firsts, 1- second and 1-sixth.
Shane showed her in Training level test 1,2 and 3. We got some great scores, the best scores were 60.8, 62.083 and 64.167. The rumor was, people could not believe she was a Quarter Horse.
We had a local Ozarks Dressage Society schooling show on April 30th. Joy was again shown in Training Level 1,2 and 3 receiving, first, first and second.
Again we were very happy with her marks of , 67.5, 66.429 and 62 under the Judge: Karen Pautz.
June 18-19, 2011-Green Country Dressage Classic 1 &2, Claremore, Oklahoma.
18th- Showed Training level 1,2,3 under judge "Thomas Poulin" scores-62.917,65.714,66, placing us 2nd in all three tests.
19th- Showed Training level 1,2,3 under judge "Dr. Pramjeet Chopra"-scores- 65.417,64.286,63.2, giving us one 1st and two 2nds.
September 20, 2011- Oklahoma State Fair Dressage show- We showed Training level test 1 and 3 under "Fran Dearing". We scored a 62.5 and 64% letting us have a 2nd and 3rd placing for the show.
October 8-9, 2011- SLADS Fall Classic- We showed the 8th and 9th in Training Level test 1 and 3. We received scores of 65.417,61.2,65,58. These scores gave us placings of 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 6th.
